A weekend of fishing

Bretts brother Robert came to visit and to get a root canal, while he was here we did a little fishing. It was also Bretts birthday and he thought having Robert here and fishing with him was the best gift.We fished for reds on the Russian and Halibut on the ocean. We had so much fun I would love to do that once a month.

My rock fish (yellow eye)

Bretts 40lb Halibut, his was the biggest Halibut caught

My first fish and my first fish ever

Our loot

The biggest fish was caught by myself, it was a ling cod that I had to throw back because it was ten days out of season. I think this is the fish that I pulled my muscle on.

Robert and Brett fishing the Russian, they landed two Salmon and lost about eight. FYI this picture was taken at eleven o' clock at night.

That is so awesome. Wow I want to come visit so bad. Maybe for our 10th anniversary we'll go to Alaska. You guys realize that fishing in any other place will suck after all this. Happy birthday to Brett. We did think about him on his birthday but we were running our race in Logan. We ran from Logan to Park City. Wow I still can't believe the fish. Was Jakson in heaven. Awesome pictures. I can imagine freaking out when catching the fish. Please post other cool pictures of Alaska. So how are the late nights. Is is still getting dark?
