Jakson had his first day of school today, he was a little nervous so he decided not to ride the bus yet. I drove him to school and picked him up, leave it to the new mom in town and with her first child going to public school to drop her child off late for his first day, ya I know I thought I had plenty of time , but I guess school started at nine not nine fifteen, oh well. He had a great time and the first thing he said when he got in the car was " mom I never knew how much fun school could be" tomorrow he is going to try the bus ride.
I could not get him to smile right, so we took a couple
and yes of course Hallie insisted that she be in one of them

YEA FOR JAKSON!!!! I just want to give that kid a major high five for going and being brave. I'm so proud of him and know this was a hard step for both of you.:) I hope you guys have a great experience with the whole public school thing. We have loved both public schools for Adlee and she is the smartest 7 year old ever.... ha ha. I know you miss him but is it nice to have him so busy with school and the kids separated for a little? Um, have I told you I miss you? i'll call you this weekend.

Tell Jakson he is so smart! I'm glad that he is happy with school. His birthday is comig up soon and I can't believe it. It seems like yesterday that I was babysitting him at 9 months.
